CAKE DECORATING PARTY!

What's baking?
This Cake Decorating Party was so much fun!  I provided everything!  We started out with a short demonstration on a few techniques.  Everyone learned a little about decorating cakes and then was able to try on their own.  Each guest took home their own decorated mini-cake in a box!

Another Thank You Cake!

What's baking?

A cake to thank retiring committee members.  Yellow Cake recipe from The Cake Bible cookbook, filled with chocolate buttercream, covered with vanilla buttercream.  Decorated with fondant/gum paste button flowers.  Learn this fun flower in the Flowers and Cake Design class I will be teaching next month.  As always you can click on the photos for larger images and click on the links for the recipes.  Let me know if you'd like to see the text of the recipes here on my blog or if the links to websites are good.  Thanks.
