Last month Team Caring & Sharing baked and shipped 14 boxes to Jon, my friends nephew serving in Afghanistan. Another team member also heard from him "...My note was fairly similar to the one you posted. The battalion favorite from my bunch were the chocolate covered peanut butter balls.
This was my first thank-you letter so I was happy to receive it!"
Baking GALS is gearing up for the next round with shipping in February. If you know someone serving in a war zone that you would like to nominate please let me know for a future round. Shipping dates are usually the first week of the month and ‘paperwork’ or information must be submitted a couple of weeks before so there is time for it to bee posted in the Baking GALS site.
